KBC Bank - The largest data centre in Central Europe

Our company has won a contract for supplying and installing the UPS equipment of the data centre that is of outstanding size even at a European level. The total output of our uninterruptible power supply devices to be installed during the first phase of the ‘mirror project’ to be implemented in 2010 in two places (Törökbálint, Baracska) will be 6 MVA, and this will be increased to 20 MVA during the rest of the project!!! Such a huge system is in all likelihood unprecedented in Hungary – and thus Socomec/CoreComm SI Kft. has a reference of the most extensive UPS capacity in the country!

Allianz - A bank centre in Budapest

This year a new prominent partner will be added to the reference list of our company, since Allianz Hungária Biztosító Zrt. has made a contract with our company for uninterruptible power supply devices with a total output of nearly 1 MVA. Allianz granted the project to CoreComm SI Kft. due to the advantages of the Socomec Green Power technology unique in the market, in spite of the fact that our offer was not the most favourable regarding investment costs. Allianz, the investor, however, realized that with the 96% efficiency of the Socomec Green Power technology so much energy can be saved that the extra investment costs can be neglected. The equipment will be put into operation soon in Kálmán Könyves Boulevard, in the new headquarters of Allianz Hungária Biztosító Zrt.
GreenPower - The source for green energy …

Given the present economic situation, with soaring energy costs and urgent environmental issues, there is no surprise that users are on the look out for new cost-effective, efficient and adaptable technical solutions. Data centres, prodigious consumers of electrical energy for their operational functions and air-con systems, are among the economic sectors that are first and foremost concerned.

SOCOMEC, with 40 years of specialist experience, is one of the first manufacturers to undertake an active approach to improving the energy efficiency of its UPS systems. The 96% efficiency certified by TÜV is achievable with any model of the Green Power product family, from 10 kVA up to 200 kVA.

Infrastructures such as data centres, networking systems and modern data networks play a leading role in value production on the information market. Power supply problems can result in data loss and undermine the productivity of IT infrastructures. That is why IT loads require an extremely high-quality power supply, without disturbances or interruptions: business continuity is the name of the game.

The way in which maintenance is performed on power supply devices is crucial in IT environments: the possibility of unintrusive servicing (performed without switching off the load), reduced maintenance time and load protection are all fundamental considerations
